How does Invisalign work?

Many of our Madison, AL patients want straighter teeth without the hassle and discomfort of ugly metal brackets and wires that you see with traditional orthodontic treatments. If this is you, you might be interested in Invisalign clear aligners

What Is Invisalign?

Invisible aligners don't use metal parts, and each tray is custom-fitted for your teeth. They are also virtually invisible, and most observers will never know you are straightening your teeth.

They work through a series of trays that gradually shift your teeth into the desired position. We manufacture each tray so that teeth are moved up to 0.25 mm per tray, meaning that the process is gradual. Patients receive a new tray every two weeks, and they can visibly see the change over the weeks.

Once your trays have been fabricated, using them is as simple as putting them over your teeth. Unlike traditional metal brackets, Invisalign plastic aligners are not uncomfortable and will not cut your gums or lips. Professional patients love that they are barely noticeable and discreet straightening alternative.
