Forms We Need You to Complete

Before our dentists can treat you, we need to obtain some pertinent information about you, as well as your dental and medical history. Your oral health and bodily health are closely linked, and this information gives us a clear picture of both. You'll find our New Patient Form here on our forms page. Fill them out online, download and complete them at your leisure, or plan to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment and complete them at our comfortable dental office.

When You Arrive at Gibson Dental

When you arrive for your first appointment at Gibson Dental, our warm and friendly receptionist, Traci, will welcome you and ask you about your day. Our goal is to see patients on time, every time, but occasionally you may have a brief wait.

Enjoy a cup of coffee and catch up with the latest news on our TV or check your emails our free wi-fi.

Your First Dental Cleaning

One of our amazing hygienists will walk you back to your treatment room and get you settled comfortably. Most of our patients want a dental cleaning during their first visit, and that is our standard procedure. Your dental hygienist will take your medical and dental history, take x-rays, and check your gums for signs of periodontal disease.

Dr. McKenna or Dr. Matt will introduce themselves and review the information gathered by your hygienist. They'll discuss with you any areas of concern and explain your treatment options.

Should you come to us as a new patient with a dental emergency, we'll take x-rays and perform an examination. If you require a simple procedure, we may be able to complete treatment that day. However, if treatment is complicated or the schedule doesn't allow for same-day treatment, we will promptly schedule you back for treatment

Your Personalized Treatment Plan

Once we have a treatment plan in place, one of our insurance specialists will review your coverage and provide a breakdown of the costs.

We think you will be amazed at how much time we spend with each patient and how every member of our team is friendly, thorough, and attentive to detail. If you have a question or anything isn't clear to you, please ask—that's what we're here for!
